  • Talking about money can be uncomfortable so I’m keen to make things simple and clear.

    We need to have an initial conversation to establish exactly what support you are looking for, and what your timeline and available budget is.

    Once we’ve talked I will provide a detailed breakdown of tasks and schedule of delivery for you to review. We refine and adjust both until we are clear on expectations and the agreed payment.

    The total cost for my services will be based on what the project entails and the level and extent of support you are looking for.

    For projects that will take more than one month to complete, a staggered payment plan of my agreed costs will need to be arranged.

    I will keep you updated throughout the project’s lifecycle so you are reassured that the project is on schedule and budget. If for any reason that is not the case I will also ensure that you are informed promptly.

    We can review and adjust the work required or the schedule as necessary.

    If you are looking for standard editorial content support I usually charge an hourly rate - these are in-line with current (2023) publishing industry norms.

    Copyediting £30/hr

    Proofreading £27/hr
